We are pleased to report that RISE Greenford has now secured its first donations towards establishing a project for isolated older people. A grant of £1,000 has been received from the Souter Charitable Trust and £250 from the Mayor of Ealing.
We are very grateful to both of these contributors for supporting us in this way.
Applications have also been submitted to various other trusts and grant-making bodies and we trust that sufficient funds are received from them to enable us to commence the project by September 2010.
